For Me

This is a curry recipe that I followed the other night.

  • Approximately 800g beef chunks
  • 3 small onions (finely sliced)
  • 6 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (slit)
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Salt
  • 3-4 tablespoons oil
  • Water as needed

Sear the beef until browned on all sides, then set aside.

Heat oil over medium heat, then add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste, ground cumin, ground coriander, and turmeric. Cook for a few minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they break down.

Add the beef and enough water to cover the beef.

Pressure cook for 45 minutes.
